How to ask a girl to become 'exclusive' ?

i've been seeing this girl for just over a month now, we have a lot in common, have a great time together and have mutual interests and I can really see a relationship working between us, I told her how much I like her face to face, didn't get a ' I really like you too' response but her actions (loads of making out) sort of told me she liked me too,

she is a shy girl and being the man I think she expects me to make all the moves...(well I have been doing up to now), organizing dates, going in for kisses, holding hands etc...so I'm presuming taking things to another level

whats a good way to get into a relationship with her? do you say something like want to become exclusive etc?

or shall I wait longer till I do things like meet her friends or have sex because atm we've been on 4 dates and talk everyday, the dates just being 1 on 1 and everyone of them has been great.

idk...please help ?

Thanks people great advice, I think I will leave it for a couple more dates..like you guys said it can't hurt! I want to tell her without being cheesy, do you think I should ask if she is ready for a relationship or just bite the bullet and ask her direct

I think after 4 dates, you might be pushing a little too fast. But then again, it's been a month... so how to reckon the timing... I kind of agree with Viva_Glow, a few more dates wouldn't hurt.

If she's as shy as you say, then you could take the lead. Ask her if she is seeing anyone else. She'll probably say no. And you can reply with "That's good. I would prefer if you didn't. I'm not seeing anyone else either. I would like us to date exclusively."

Don't be wishy washy about it. Don't say "I think it might be nice if we dated exclusively". Be upfront and lay it out there.

If you feel like you really want to make it exclusive, nervous thoughts concerning "should I wait til..." shouldn't be relevant. Although a few more dates can't hurt, if the connection is that strong, it won't matter. Tell her you've really enjoyed these past dates and you don't want to see anyone else. That you would like to know if she would like to be your girlfriend.

And if you can find a way to look in her eyes with sweet eyes and a charming smile for the duration of this conversation, you'll melt her heart and she won't be able to resist you. Good luck! :)

she probably into you too..and if she's shy then she probably does want you to ask her to be exclusive. If you feel she's worth taking the risk then go for and don't wait that much longer. Just tell what you think about her, how much you enjoy her company, that you can see yourself being in a relationship with her, and how she feels bout you...if she feels the same way then ask her to be your girlfriend. A month is long enough for her to know if she wants to be exclusive with you...unless she's had a bad previous relationship or she just wants to date.
