He thought she was clingy... she thought she was holding on.
Perspective sometimes can be a bitch.
Thanks for the mHo

I wouldn't be able to stand a clingy SO. The moment I find out that they are clingy I would probably distance myself before breaking it off completely. I'm not trying to be mean or anything but with how I grew up... I would appreciate it if my SO would respect my boundaries and to give me the space I need. I want someone who can trust me and not constantly call or text me to see where I am and how long I'm planning to be there especially if we were not going to hang out that day. If I am hanging out with friends I haven't seen in a while and I want to spend time with said friends I don't want my SO to invite themselves or expect me to invite them. There is a time that I will spend with them and time where I want to spend with friends and family by myself. I also dont want to be called every or other hour. I will not pick up the phone if there is no need for me to. I expect them to call me if there is an emergency, if they are having problems at home, or if thw call was planned by both of us but calling me over nothing? No. Especially if they know that I am working. I enjoy having my space since it's something I had the luxury of having growing up.
It really depends on how you feel about the person. Being clingy is not automatically a negative thing.
I think, as you get older, you learn to appreciate those who enjoy your company so much they want to be around you. But there are levels to it.
If someone is being clingy to the point that it is detrimental to your own emotional well-being, there needs to be communication about how that's not okay.
Communication is the key in any relationship, but I feel, more often than not, it's something that is often times forgotten or ignored.
I mean, if you're BOTH just the right amount of clingy then it can be a deep, passionate love. But if either of you is deriving your identity from the other then it's not healthy. Be able to stand on your own first. If you have feelings like you, "can't live without" the other person then it's time to talk to a therapist. I mean that sincerely.
I've talked with my boyfriend about why he feels clingy, like what he needs in order to feel ok. For instance if I take the initiative to call him at least once a day on my own time it's easier than him feeling like he has to call me 50 times when I'm busy
ADDRESS HIS/HER INSECURITIES. If you think that your boyfriend is worth the effort, try and address his/her deep-seated insecurities that make him/her so needy.
TELL HIM/HER TO LAY OFF. Tell your guy/girl in plain terms that you need your space.
ENCOURAGE HIM/HER TO HAVE HIS OWN LIFE.
SET BOUNDARIES.
ASK YOURSELF IF YOU ARE INTO HIM/HER.
Hope it helps. 😊♥️
You don't... if it's too much to deal with you should consider not being committed to a relationship... most girls would go head over heels for a guy who looks for them a little too much... it's not like he is waiting for you outside the restroom or asking you to walk him to work Every single day... worry when he loses interest for not feeling the same way... or when he directs his attention to someone else due to it... Bette yet, get to know him before becoming official..
I'm really sure, cause I haven't had a girlfriend. I might feel pretty honoured at first that a girl is so attached to me and shows me her affection. But I guess if it goes for too long and she gets controlling (like watching every move I do like a living security cam, and constantly checks my phone) I would get annoyed. Because I also want privacy, and I don't belong to anyone.
Keep doing what I did to make her clingy so she doesn’t stop. If we click and the sex is good, there’s no such thing as clingy to me.
Break up. Women who are clingy will never change. They will pretend to, then months later explode because they didn't change and now it's his fault for no good reason.
Women who are clingy show their true colors, she's not happy unless she's depending on someone else emotionally. That's toxic
I'd keep on doing what I did to make her clingy because I like clinginess. Apathy is what would really bother me.
Slap her in the face and shove her down the stairs. Preferably in front of people so we can all laugh at her.
@kim45456 Report him for what? Trying to be funny and failed miserably? I wouldn't bother.
Naw that shit was funny...
Ex git rid of me. Odd she never gave any indication that there was an issue, wish she had talked about it. Though ultimately we werent meant to be so no bad thing we split
I’ve had this talk with my boyfriend before... then again, I can get that way too lol or maybe I’m being needy. Not sure if that’s different lol
I wouldn't I would tell them that I find it a issue and if it didn't stop I would leave can't be dealing with that
When I don't like it, I tell him that I need some space. When I like it I get clingy too.
Well.
i have always been single..
So.. I think I have would actually enjoy a clingy partner..
Talk to them about it tell them how you feel about them being clingy
I like clingy, at least they won't leave, much less to cheat too when they're attached to you. I view it as a win
Honestly I don't mind but the solution is as simple as communicating. Just tell them how you feel and what you want in a respectful and polite way, it's as simple as that.
If they're too clingy, I'd tell them that he/she needs to tone it down. Just be honest.
you be clingy right back. Too clingsters are better than one
correction ' two '
Talk to them about it and tell them how feels being clingy. Simple as that
I tend to stay away from that kind of girls. It's a turn off 🤔
But if it happens then I'm gonna explain her that I need space and she needs to respect it.
I want a clingy girlfriend 😍 it's so good to know how much a woman loves me.
You have to eventually just lay it all out on the line if they can accept that then it's time to split up
Prefer that. physical person when it's love. the opposite only gives warning signals.
Have my boundaries what isn't okay.
I think my boyfriend and I are both equally clingy, so it works out. It's either that were both clingy, or are just very loving, I don't really know.
just be nice an say how it makes you feel uncomfortable
If they're too clingy I would probably break up with them. If it was only slightly I would maybe try to talk to them about it.
I had one. It isn't really about that, its really about how you feel about THEM and if its not a ***glowing*** opinion, then that's why they feel clingy.
I'm not officially recommending this, but out-cling them!
Stop being a teenager and have a mature talk about it to set boundaries.
Light a bag of poop on fire and leave it on there doorstep
I'd actually like it to a point. As long as it wasn't possessive. At least I know she cares for me.
Get and go find something to do, wait that means oh man they tricked me!
Tell them you need your personal space and they should understand.
I m single at the moment , will tell her about it if I had any girlfriend
I'd be fine with it if she was reasonable about it. There is a balance.
Sexual clingy is fine, emotional clingy is a hell no. She movin' out
I would let her watch me have sex with my new girlfriend
Simply talk with him about it
I no longer deal with them. Fuck that.
if you like him then it can't be that clingy
I wouldn’t date a guy who is clingy.
I want a clingy boyfriend 🙈
Could you handle it
I don't mind my girlfriend being clingy
tell them you wanna fuck them
Pass me a hot smart clingy one
Tell them to stop doing what they are doing.
I don't. My fiance and I aren't clingy.
Introduce her to someone else. J/k
I'd inform her that she's being to needy.
I would let them be clingy and probably enjoy it.
I tell her I need some space.
I don't deal with clingy ones at all tbh
Accept the love and affection.
Getting rid of them as soon as possible
I let her do her thing
slap her so she stops.
I like hot clingy men
