My girlfriend loves her dog more than me?

Me and my girlfriend have been together for six months. I dont mind if she loves her dog. The dog is really cute and I completely understand her. She often pets and kisses the dog for minutes while I just act like the third wheel. I want to feel the same passionate love towards me. She often tells me how much she loves me and misses me. But she is rarely physically showing me love. This lack of love can make me jelous of the dog sometimes. I am trying to express my love with hugs and kisses but it feels like she dont appreciate them. What can I do?
