I'm never happy unless I'm in a relationship?

I know it's stupid but I really don't like to be alone. When I'm single all I think about is dating someone new and getting into a relationship. It makes me angry with myself because I don't want to like that! I want to be happy without having to depend on a guy. I just love being in love and when I'm not I always feel like something is missing. How can I be happy when I'm alone?

identify what's causing you to feel like that. is it because you are still missing the time you spent with your ex and haven't got over it, or is it because in general you love being love and have always wanted to be in a relationship, or is it something else? Generally, try mixing around with people (not of wrong sort), and keep yourself occupied with things that will really take your time (stay focused!). Talk to your friends and family when you are feeling so. It's amazing how much they can help you on this. Many things are easier said than done, but be patient with this and don't be in a relationship for the wrong reasons. It takes will, focus to get over how you are feeling now. If you are still filling so, that means you aren't really focused enough or doing enough important things in your days -take this as a reminder. Good luck! x

not surprised, I hate it how society, culture, and the majority of girls find it a huge turn off when a guy is lonely and really wants a girlfriend, it makes him look desperate, needy, clingy, and weak. Meanwhile it's okay for girls, most of us guys don't care if the girl wants a boyfriend to complete her life or validate her existence, which gives you girls the upper hand in the dating and relationship world.

Give it time alone. Find the way. If you are unhappy alone and get into the relationship, you will be demanding, it won't do any good anyway. You should be happy on your own before you go into relationship. To how, it takes time and effort. Just don't stop trying and you will make it happen. Aside from that I don't have any advice. I hope somebody else will help more.

i don't see a problem here. I think there is a pressure on people to not mind being alone, but for some it's just not possible.
