Girlfriend threatened to block me after argument?

Why has my girlfriend threatened to block me after an argument then continue to contact me and keep saying that she will block me when I am not even trying to contact her , she kept texting without me without me even texting back saying to not talk to her which I wasn't , very tough behavior to cope with, she has went silent now. 5 years together (m34) (f44)?

I will add that we have been going through a lot and working through issues , communication issues and arguing etc, had been on a decent stretch and making progress and this argument come about after I tried talking about some things that were bothering me which I approached very carefully and wasn't a big deal and she just came unglued , like how dare I ask anything,

5 years together... this is a pretty poor level of communication. I'm not judging you; you do you. If it works for you, that's what matters. Chances are I'd block her. Treating someone with that lack of respect is grounds for divorce.
