basically the person is acknowleding the fact that they are sensitive.. emotional wise I assume and maybe they have been told they need to change or toughen up and they dont want to. They feel the other should be nicer

I dont think its bout just friend... it can be besssst friend or crush or boyfriend but most likely i feel its crush for whom she has some feelings... and its not bout loving ownself but indicating to the other person that she needs the other person to be nicer cuz she is how she is and she can't change herself emotionally
