Black men abandon their kids. I am okay with any combination where the children are taken care of but 82% black children are born to single moms who end up poor and the children have an very hard road ahead. And fuck off with the accusation of racism. It is statistically accurate but anyone who talks about it is shouted down and that includes black clergy, black entertainers, black news anchors. The truth is buried so people don’t talk about it and that allows it to continue on unabated.
I hear you but I don’t blame black men solely. That’s not fair just because it’s a statistic. There’s historical trauma and the studying of it continues today. Also known as blood trauma. Basically the aftermath effects of a trauma are handed down through generation to generation. So until the root of the problem is addressed, there’s no solving it and that statistic will continue to grow.
@mickey9999 soooo should my dad have left us because of “statistic blood trauma” since we are full irish and there was irish slAves as well? Not to mention irish slaves were treated worse and paid less then the black slaves. There is no “trauma” in the blood line. Its pure laziness and fake “opression” people put onto these peopel. Learn history idiot
I don’t need to learn history. It’s taught generation to generation and myself and my family live it every day as are many native Americans do the same every day. It’s not laziness or fake oppression. It mental health and substance abuse for many families. Not to mention family violence. For many reservations it’s about no running water. No plumbing. No natural resources on the Rez.
@Mickey9999 I believe it is the root of the problems. The black family was strong not that long ago and they went through bad times. There is some truth in what you say but it is mostly a cover. I know six figure guys who seem very well adjusted who don’t take care of their kids at all.
It’s the same thing. We have the same statics of men leaving their children and wives just as much as black men. It’s not different. Blacks just didn’t get sent to reservations but they did get “kept” to certain parts of towns etc whether economically induced or just racial. So it’s more justifiable to you because you visited a Rez as a youth? Because for us the trauma began with the European invasion way before so called Columbus and continues to this day. But not blacks because what it’s too recent? Or just because you didn’t go to the Deep South as a child. Or have a black friend who got attacked for no reason other than the color of their skin. Happens to Indians still today as with many other races/minorities.
@mickey9999 blacks are lazy and dont care of their kids because they want to live a victim mentality. The end. Im not arguing anymore thats my set in stone opinion. ✌️
True but just because there’s some six figure dads you can’t deny the root of the cause. I didn’t believe it too much either but when you read the studies a d background it makes sense. You do as your taught. And sometimes you have the overachievers who break the cycles. But you have the many that either don’t know of the programs offered to provide assistance like mental health counseling for example. Or they’re too proud or too shamed to seek assistance. It’s merry go round of cause and effect. Believe me when you’re working day in and day out trying to provide programs to help not enable, it’s frustrating because you are attacked for being educated, for leaving the Rez, for acting too white, etc. I’m sure the same happens in all minority communities
@SexyAshh I never asked you to argue nor did I ever attempt to change your opinion. It wasn’t asked for. I was replying to the opinion owner. Have a great night though!
I’m addressing the statistics you mentioned. Those aren’t six figure earning dads. I agree those six figure dads are selfish just as any race. But as a dad or mom that is a victim of historical trauma, doesn’t have the education or support or the means to provide for their families, they are overwhelmed and traumatized again and they give up and leave. Doesn’t mean they don’t love their children or want to do better but they either consider themselves failures and turn to substances or they leave. I see it every day. Decent men that weren’t raised to know what a proper father is or how to go about it. When he leaves, it traumatizes the next generation and so forth. So no I’m not taking the six figure earning minorities dad. I’m speaking the poverty level or the uneducated and the abused dads struggling out there regardless of race.
@Mickey9999 So how did and how do, dirt poor fathers all over the world raise their children? Including the tribes of 200 years ago. They were happy and raised their family. Today, there are billions of poor people living a happy family life with little in material goods.
Please do a little historical research instead of singing the a-typical: "I heard this said once, so I sing it! I'll sing it again because it was what I taught!" It's unbecoming and you hiding from it shows you at least acknowledge your words aren't worth standing behind.
Some black children grow up without fathers because their mothers aren't capable of getting along with men who don't want them. I know it hurts your delicate mind but sometimes black men aren't at fault.
@Tiffyk Scapegoating? My father cares about me more than my mother did but she didn't want me with him at all. The same for my older brother and his baby mother. The fact that you can't stand the idea that a black woman could be at fault shows a lot about you.
@Tiffyk According to who? What exactly makes you think it's always the man walking away into the sunset? I've seen more examples of mine or the man going to prison than the guy just up and leaving.
@Hypnos0929 lol are you one of those gAg mysogynists who tries to blame women for everything? come on, we all know about hip hop culture and how it encourages men to fuck as many girls as they can. I've seen tons of examples of the guys knocking up any girl he pleases and bails. Lower income people do not take sexual responsibility. They are less likely to use protected sex and the women are stupid for not using protection when they are not married
@anonymous there are plenty of happy poor people raising their families. You are the one that mentioned statistics for blacks which i agreed to but not for the same reason of just up and going away. I simply said it’s not that simple. There’s reason for their failures just as with any other race. How did natives do? Some did, many didn’t. They had their children stolen from them to be raised by evangelical strangers in boarding schools across this country. My own grandfather born in 1912 was a poor brick layer who struggled to properly raise his in white society. Out of nine children, two died in infancy with that comes hospital bills and funeral expenses in a day most didn’t have insurance of any kind as it was a luxury and still is. In the late 50’s, he was taken against his Will and put in a TB ward for a year because he was suspected to have TB. He never had it. So his family struggled more and my dad in his teens became the man of the house as he was drafted into the army. My grandfather never came back. The marriage was over. The stress overwhelmed him. He was already a drinker and became an alcoholic. I met him once just a year before his death. One son committed suicide facing a divorce at 25 and the rest battled with alcohol. Even my dad for a time period and he raised his siblings and financed his mother working more than 40 hours a week for GM and went to college to get a Masters degree in HR. How he broke the circle was a huge struggle and with determination but i can tell you I’m so much better off for it and so are my children who are in college. My daughter in law school. People don’t need to given everything but they do need the support system to succeed. So no I’m not quoting statistics, I like my family lived them. History has a huge effect and until you face that history, it’s only bound to repeat itself.
@Tiffyk I’m in agreement with @Hypnos0929. It’s not just a male abandonment thing. It’s a dysfunctional thing. Mothers may not abandon their families/children in these situations statistically like their male counterparts but they do absolutely abandon their children emotionally or they have them taken away by authorities because of the same dysfunction or historical trauma effects. Happens all the time unfortunately so he doesn’t have to be a woman hater by what he is saying.
@Mickey9999 you explained it well, but the way it was explained on here by others made it look like people were angelizing men. I had a life like yours, a grandfather abused by the system who eventually committed suicide and an alcoholic family. I know how hard it is to break out because I tried, but the system got me too... and I'm not even black. So I do understand the black struggle. The problem is, oppressed people tend to turn on themselves out of frustration and destroy their lives without realizing it
@Tiffyk How can you call me a misogynist then immediately jump to the conclusion black men are poor and irresponsible? I'm spitting straight facts and you just don't like the idea that a mother can be at fault. Just because a man leaves doesn't mean he doesn't love his kid, and just because a woman stays doesn't mean she doesn't despise the child.
@Hypnos0929 Don’t blame the moms. They hold it together with no real money from the man, or help changing diapers, or going to PTA meetings, or a hundred other things that need to be done. What he does do is show up for a birthday party (which he did nothing to help prepare for) and hand a present to the child and get unearned attention for showing up with one gift when a whole year of work, effort and time was withheld. Ah, but you say it’s the mothers... such BS.
@Hypnos0929 ha you really are a gaslighter. I didn't say black men are irresponsible. I said lower income people usually are, hence why they have no money when city college is free. If these fathers with bastard sons are so innocent, how many do you think are paying child support?
@Tiffyk How much money do you think goes to the child when the father does pay? Funny how you call me a gas lighter but you won't acknowledge you substituted "low income people" for black men just so we wouldn't have this conversation. Anyone who reads this string of comments will clearly be able to tell you meant black men and no one else so why are we playing this game?
@Hypnos0929 so a man is not going to pay child support because he's afraid none of it will go to the child? Lol give me a break. If the mother were that abusive, he could have the kid taken away in a heartbeat if he wanted. And when I said low income people, I meant exactly that bc I know poor white guys who are total trash and don't pay child support, so they aren't allowed to see the baby. Those are probably the rednecks who come on this site and bitch that women get all the rights 😂
@Tiffyk The fact that you believe taking a child away from a mother is so easy shows a lot about what you don't know. The way you see black men is exactly the way judges see us, and the same way many spoiled baby mommas portray us as. Maybe you need to get your head out the sand and see the world as it really is. Shitty people on both sides, the only difference between men and women is women get the benefit of the doubt, even abusive women are given leeway and time to explain.
@Hypnos0929 I know it's not easy, but reporting an unfit mother is. And I know blacks have it harder when it comes to law bc white men hate blacks and women amd since they are at the top of the food chain, they will get their way. At first I thought you were a white guy bitching about women (like a lot of the guys on this site), that's why I responded. My bad
When I was younger I'm a shamed to say but now I'm older and wiser I see the error of my ways My best friend was Jamaican and I really felt they were family and I would have been proud to say she is my favorite friend but she passed
nope. I mean... who someone else is dating doesn't affect me at all. Especially for one of the most non-sensical reasons like their skin being a different colour.
I've been in multiple interracial relationships; I like them. I will say that I don't like how some white women act when they date men of color; sometimes it gets a little bit self righteous, and that can get fuckin' weird.
@Omega_brie That happened with my sister and her husband. But now he hates white people more than she does lol. My mom also did that winterfox, kinda. Not to really act better than people but more just cuz she was raised in a racist environment, so she wanted to prove to herself she wasn't i guess. Its funny cuz I was with a blasian three years but I'm pretty right leaning libertarian lol.
I don’t really know where it comes from. I have to think it basically comes from a good place, but I hear some of the stuff that comes out of these women’s mouths and I just wonder if they think they’re doing the world a humanist Arian favor or something. It’s like “no bitch, Fucking a Latino guy doesn’t save the rain forest.”
XD i think its more of a "see, im not racist. Im dating a black guy" but I think a lot of those guys take advantage of those feelings in a woman too. I once had a creep following me in his car and when I kept ignoring him he said "what you dont like black guys?" And a lot of those women aren't necessarily racist, but they'll have a vendetta to achieve so they'll date them. Im comfortable inmyself tho so that shit doesn't work for me lol.
It depends. When I see Asian women with white men or white women with black/Hispanic/Jewish men, I cannot help but think that they're mating for the wrong reasons.

My last relationship was interracial. A smoking hot Guatemalan girl unfortunately she's two childish so I had to break it off. 🤷♂️ The ball is in her court so it might work out but I'm not going to hold my breath.
Nope. I used to disagree on them but I got to the point that I don't care about it anymore and whatever makes them happy then I'm happy but most girls and the good ones prefers interracial relationships and any interracial foreigners from overseas.

It's not trauma that makes a black man leave his kid, it's self-centered, narcissistic behavior. Just like rap lyrics

As a first gen Filipina-Canadian, every relationship I'll be in will be interracial. My ex and my current partner are both white.
Nope, not at all. I'm actually in one. But it's sad to know that they're people out there that hates it.
what race is your boyfriend?
@johnsmall23 white
No my ex was of a different race and I find certain races beautiful and attractive more than others. I would love to again be in one.
What race are you?
nope. I mean... who someone else is dating doesn't affect me at all. Especially for one of the most non-sensical reasons like their skin being a different colour.
I've been in multiple interracial relationships; I like them. I will say that I don't like how some white women act when they date men of color; sometimes it gets a little bit self righteous, and that can get fuckin' weird.
Oh yeah, I've noticed a similar thing when non-white women date white men. It can get very self-hatey
@Omega_brie That happened with my sister and her husband. But now he hates white people more than she does lol.
My mom also did that winterfox, kinda. Not to really act better than people but more just cuz she was raised in a racist environment, so she wanted to prove to herself she wasn't i guess.

I am born cuz of a interracial relationship.🤷🏽♀️
Yay interracial relationships!!!🍰🧁🏀
What race are your parents?
No, if they're happy then their race doesn't matter. Love is love and I have no say in who should be with who.
Nope. Also im the offspring of an interracial marriage lol
Anyone who is bothered by this is inherently racist, no questions asked.
Don't date trash
@LeoElias Agreed.
@LeoElias Assuming you aren't implying that someone's race is what makes them trash, of course. If you do.. you're racist.
@criticaldiscourse So i should be okay with black men stealing my girlfriend on purpose?
Why would it? Love has no color preference. I am Asian. Always had a thing for Caucasian guys.
As i Caucasian guy i would like to know why do you have that preference? :)
It depends. When I see Asian women with white men or white women with black/Hispanic/Jewish men, I cannot help but think that they're mating for the wrong reasons.
Meanwhile, when I saw white women with Asian men, or black/Hispanic/Jewish women with white men, I get a better feeling.
Further define those "wrong reasons"
@Sonorous those reasons are because they're more common because the media broadcasts white people as the most beautiful race, but Asian women are good at seducing the men while Latinos and Jews are good at seducing the women.
I would love to see what statistics you're basing your conclusions on
@Sonorous experience. It's more likely Asian women with white men than the other way around. And it's more likely white women with black/Hispanic/Jewish men than the other way around.
@Sonorous if you are going to troll me with stupid Harvey Weinstein films, then I shouldn't have bothered to answer.
Troll? Hmm... If your conclusion for that is also based on your "experience" then let me go grab a hard hat cause this building might crumble!
@Sonorous You know what? I'm not going to play around with a little young brat like yourself who knows nothing but wasting time. Do whatever you wish. Ta-ta.

People who have a problem with interracial relationships are usually racists. Facts are facts, dont try to deny me.
