I support them, but I don’t support people who make them their entire personality. It’s annoying, like yes we get it.. but nobody cares as much as you think they do.
I personally get a lot of attention from men outside of my race and would be open to dating them, but I have to tread lightly as I feel like some interracial relationships are based on fetishizing, not actual love. That whole “asian women are more submissive” or “interracial children look the best” narrative is played out and offputting.
They’re fine. I’ve been in at least 10, and happily so. But interracial dating is not my main preference

Their parents did which is part of why im not big on it. I see a lot of parents change their mindset when there's a grandchild involved but i’d never trust leaving our kid around them. Like i dated one dude who was Portuguese/japanese. His parents were racist af and didn't even allow him to have black friends over for his bday dinner. I had a white boyfriend with a racist dad and 2 white bfs with a racist mom. And i never met these specific parents. The guys would tell me ahead of time that they labeled this and that person in their fam as racist.

Even if the parents didn't care, there are other issues and misunderstandings throughout the majority of my interracial relationships. But i did enjoy the ones who didn't continuously bring up race.

Exactly. I know Germany has a bad past but i like that this german ex never brought it up. And in all fairness, the portuguese/japanese one didn't either outside of discussing his parents. Its mainly brought up by my white or hispanic (American) or Indian exes because very few of them knew how to compliment me without stereotyping or comparing my skintone to chocolate. I’m not even the same shade as chocolate but thats all the ones who go overboard know to compare it to.

They're just like any other relationship. I just see them as a normal couple, regardless of their race.
It irks me when other people judge said relationships or make stereotypes based on them.
And yes, I've been in a few, along with attracted to men of other races. The problem usually occur when the feeling isn't mutual, or said guy refuses to date you because of how their family, friends, or society will react.
I don't have to date a Chinese guy and I don't like Chinese communities unless they are religious. I find secular Chinese people act like your life has no value outside of your income and your appearance. It's like if you're not beautiful or rich, you could die cause nobody will give you water in a desert.

It's great if you can pull it off, but it can be HARD work, different customs and traditions, families and friends. Personally, I think finding a loving relationship is already difficult nowadays, I don't think I would want to added difficulties.

Should be discouraged. The children don't get to decide who they are, and have to live with the choice of their parents. Lots of mixed kids are bullied and wish they could fit in like the rest of the majority they live around.
They can learn to deal with just as others of other races have. Every race whether more noticeably mixed or not has been bullied at some point. Okay one black/white mixed kid is told they dont act black or white enough. Okay someone whose not mixed and is black, white, etc alone (despite whats in their ancestry) is still told the same that they do not act black, white, etc enough. So it shouldn't be discouraged. You yourself could just choose to not be apart of it. Let others do as they please
Mixed children are usually bullied if they are in environments where they are the only child who is different and it’s not exclusive to mixed children whatsoever. I’ve known white kids who went to all black schools who were bullied or even half Asian children who were bullied by other Asians for not being Asian enough. Hell, even Hispanics who were bullied for being “too light” compared to the ones around them. Diverse environments eliminate this issue and the problem why Mixed children don’t know their identity is because society refuses to label them as what they are, biracial. I’ve seen most white people only identify black and white people as black.

I have as of yet only been in interracial relationships. I have dated a white woman, but she stopped talking to me after the second date. I think that she got back with her ex. She seemed to talk about him quite a bit.
To me this is a part of the problem. The term interracial by definition separates one another. Why can’t it just be a relationship between two people? Words have power and as long as we use them to separate them there will always be a divide.
