I understand there are unhealthy reasons. Perhaps you may be drawn to a certain ethnicity due to a fetish, but I don't understand why some people have an issue, when two individuals are simply attracted to each other, and like each other's company.

The problem with this question is that 99% of all people will think (white men) in terms of racism and not liking interracial. because racist people other than white don't get much converage because it's not controversial enough.

- The same way things like shootings of unarmed white guys by police doesn't get anywhere near as many media outlets picking up the stories as does unarmed shootings of black guys.

It all goes back to the days when white people had black slaves. History won't stop with the white guilt even though almost NOBODY alive today had owned slaves. You can't condemn next generations for what their ancestors did. That's just plain stupidity.

In theory I don't think there is anything wrong with it. In practice I think it's 95% done in a bad wrong way.

The only pairings that are fetishized are black male and white woman as well as white man and Asian woman. All the other pairs are ok and nothing wrong with it. Those two are PRIMARILY done because of a racism fetish.

I've personally met many white women who liked black men, and they fetishize the skin color. "Why do you like black men?" "The dark skin and the contrast, it's very attractive" wtf does that mean? Do I get hard over blue eyes and stay limp dicked over brown eyes? That would be a ridiculous level of fetishization. Not only do they like the feature but they like it into comparison of their own. Which is super weird... A true interracial relationship to me is one that hardly consists of bringing up eachothers race. I’ve dated outside of my race many times but can only think of two who just enjoyed being together without making dumb remarks. The rest couldnt compliment me without adding in black, chocolate or something similar in that very same sentence. The others couldnt stop saying things about themselves like “i’m just your typical pasty dude” or “i have a big dick for a white/Asian/indian/etc dude”. Its just so annoying and came across a bit uncalled for or insecure. I’ll date someone who can avoid bringing up race constantly. Otherwise im bothered. I will not give it another go with someone who has a racist family. I tried and we were all in an awkward position. Im not gonna make someone choose between me and their fam but I also dont like when a person doesn't have the guts to stand up for their significant other. That's a great question. Some people are more worried about others lives than their own. They're worried about something that it doesn't affect them at all.

The real reason why they're so concerned is because they're racist. They think that their "race" will be "extinct" because of interracial relationships which is completely nonsensical and untrue. In some cases it's because they think men or women of their "race" are being "stolen" from them by men or women of a certain "race". This is sad and ridiculous in my opinion.

In the end, what others do with their love life is nobody else's business. So being worried about it, is a waste of time and energy.

It comes down to keeping race, culture and numbers for the races in question. A lot of people who hate or have interracial dislike are those that want to preserve the integrity of what I listed above. Being mixed myself, I identify as biracial of both black and white. I don't date exclusively my race and have been attracted to women all across the racial spectrum.

Point is, people who take issue with it feel threatened and act as gatekeepers to say we should only fate people of our race to keep the race alive. So, in theory if we go off of that I should be able to date white, black and mixed women. Of course people will say mixed kids are tainted races or need to identify solely with one race. But people feel Insecure, this goes to all races, especially black and whites. Some of Black women when they see a Black man dates or married a white woman or any other race, they question why? For folks who are really concerned over the survival of their culture and ethnicity, there are real concerns. I think most of that can be addressed with communication and finding a way to an understanding. Culture is a real thing. Cultural groups have real histories.

That goes beyond the fake world of race. I have seen this when Ukrainians and Russians marry each other. I know a woman who's father is in the Russian military, but her mother was born in Ukraine. And get this, for the war, she initially has sided with Russia. But she feels she is culturally Ukrainian. I think its the inability of cultural bias and the misconception of the concept cultural appropriation with one trying to learn the others culture.

Japanese people are probably one of the most confusing of this ideology as they actively are one of the few rabidly against foreigners adapting their culture and or learning it. So much so that in some instances I've seen japanese people be racist to their own race and culture over a non japanese person learning japanese culture. But their master is authentically japanese?

But back to the OP statement interracial relationships I think most of all it comes back to the fear of what then is that offspring gonna culturally identify scares others. And people don't grasp that culture ultimately is a mix of ideals and ways of life and its not just ones pure identity. A lot of people don't grasp that cultures we know today aren't their single core culture. They are more often than not a conglomerate similar to what is the US/American culture is.

That’s a good question. There is nothing wrong with an interracial relationship. It shouldn’t bother anyone. It doesn’t involve or pose a threat to anyone else’s love relationship or marriage. People should learn to respect the agency of others. I often wonder the same thing when it comes to polygamy and plural marriage (polygyny) which is still wrongfully illegal and discriminated against within the United States and many other parts of the world despite the legalization and pushing of LGBTQ. I find most often they bother white incels and black racist women, in my experience. The incels thinks it taints the white blood if a white woman is with a man who isn’t white; and the racist black women think their men are being stolen… though for both situations they don’t seem to care as much if someone of their own gender is dating interacial.
Although with Hispanic and Asian parents while they don’t care what others do they take it as a personal rejection if their kid doesn’t marry someone who looks like them. (Tbh I know a lot of Hispanics married to second cousins or in laws 💀)

Black men and white women are typically the most open minded about it, but I think black women and white men have the healthiest dynamic whenever the rare match happens. Both of these things have some statistical backing of truth as well.

White Christians will usually feel more inclined around the race factor than the religion factor.

Whereas Jews will be more inclined around the religion than race factor.

Because some people are racist. That's really it. They may say they aren't, they may even think they aren't, but they are. It's unfortunately just ingrained into a lot of people and is a subconscious thought.
