During an affair, does the person cheating talk about their significant other with affair partner?

What’s your thoughts or opinion when a person decides to cheat with someone, do they talk about their partner (keep in mind the affair partner knows they are cheating). For instance, do they talk about how they are unhappy, why they are unhappy with them (like finances, no attention, no or bad in sex). Does talking bad about the significant other fuel the affair partner to use it to their advantage to extend the cheating
. Or do they not talk about their partner at all and just have a secret affair?

People who cheat tend to talk about their partner to everyone from what I've noticed. Almost like a selling point to find people to have an affair with.
