Yeah People with NPD ( narcissistic personality disorder) only care about themselves in as many faculties as possible. If they do something for you, later they are going to ask you for something or hang it over year head. Even when they do good for you, its all about them in the end.
Sister was married to one for 3 years. Get out before you get stuck or worse. Their egos and brains do not ever plan for failure so if they see a plan laid out in their head, even if its clearly flawed... because they thought if it, its flawless, then they will do it.
I never trusted my sister ex. I've had my fair shares with NPD people and he had the signs, I was just waiting for the I told you so moment. It came when she was out and about while he was at work (the only time she was allowed to leave, if she promised to not see family and friends... dumb right?)--
She was out and he called her and asked her to stop and pick up some milk while she was out... here's their conversation as best I can remember.
Her: How do you know I'm out?
Him: I just have a sense that you're out by Walmart
Her:... I did just eave walmart... how do you know?
Him: Because I just know you.
He works in the secret sector for the Gov. A friend of hers who worked with him checked her phone and found it loaded with tracking software disguised as other things on her phone. She had been tracked for I think a month or so before he ousted himself.
His excuse was first that we are all crazy and we were just going against him because of a "lucky guess" then he tried to act innocent and that he thought it was a good idea when he was caught.
Narcissists simply don't care. But if you cross them, then can be vengeful. All it takes to cross a narcissist is to not flatter them when they want to be praised.
That’s what they do. Sounds a bit like some bpd behavior as well. It won’t stop until you cut him off totally.

He enjoys hurting you, you always come back for more so he assumes you like being abused,,,
That's how they roll. They only care about themselves.
Because they are all about themselves. Stop letting him into your life and just move on.
