Love Triangle, who should I choose?

At the moment I am in a bit of a love triangle. I am currently dating one guy (lets call him Dave) and at first I liked him, but after a few weeks of dating I have realized he isn't the right guy for me. I've not told him because he is obsessed with me. We may not be that old, but he says he is perfectly ready to spend the whole of his life with me and he loves me more than anything. I have really tried to feel the same way about him, but I don't and I can't fool myself much longer, but I want him to stay happy.

The other guy I have always at least slightly liked for the duration of my time I've known him. We get along well (even though we don't get chances to interact all that much) but 2 days ago he asked me out- not knowing I was already in a relationship due to me keeping it private. Now I am very unsure of wich to pick, one is absolutely head over heels with me but I don't feel the same way, and the other likes me at least quite a deal but we don't know each othr that well and it might not work out. :/ Also, If I do break up with ''Dave'' then I'm not sure how to tell him. My question is which should I choose?

It's hard, breaking up with anyone that you have even an ounce of feelings for, but that's pretty known. In my opinion, it's always better to let someone know that you don't feel the same way, than to just keep them around because you're scared/don't know how to. I would respect a girl much more if he said to me " This isn't working for me, I don't feel the same as you, blah blah" Than her just keeping that inside until she gets angry, or cheats. It will hurt them more in the long run.

Tell "Dave" how you feel as best you can. You don't have to tell him there's another guy, just let him know that you no longer have the same feelings, no matter how much he "loves" you you're feelings won't change. Then give the other guy a shot, if you still feel like you want to. You'll always feel a little down after a break up, so you may have a different opinion of the other guy, if you do decide to break up with "Dave"

Choose the boy you like. Tell Dave you aren't feeling it or whatever. Don't say friends, don't say not you it's me. Tell the second boy that you have to take care of something first, but you'd like to go out with him.

So you want to dump your boyfriend who loves you for a guy you like but think about not dumping your boyfriend in case it doesn't work out with the guy you like?

If your boyfriend is so in love with you but YOU DON'T reciprocate those feelings then tell him so!, It's not fair to keep him around just because you don't want to be alone. That's mean.

If you don't love him, then make your feelings clear, you have to honest with him and with yourself. It's not fair to be in a relationship you know has no future because you don't like him.

He might be hurt at first, but in time he'll appreciate that you told him the truth.

You don't sound bitchy :) And I'm not really keeping him because then I won't be alone, I just don't know exactly how to tell him. Me being alone I personally don't feel as being an issue. :) Thanks though ^_^

Oh, well you could try telling him that you need to talk. He'll grasp what you mean. And then tell him gently that you think it's not going to work out but that he's a nice guy which I assume he is. :)
