How do I deal with this situation?

I have a friend of mine, a really good and old friend of mine who is jealous of my relationship with a certain girl. She is deaf, which is the reason he turned her down in the first place. However once I got her, he seemed to be a little jealous, now that he has figured out that we have done a little more in the bed. He is seemingly getting aggravated and I'm worried that he might turn hostile. Which obviously I don't want to happen, I can't talk to him without him getting mad or upset. But at the same time if I ignore him he will get mad at me and threaten me and my girlfriend saying that were ignoring him. I don't want to lay hands on him as he is my best friend but I'm not letting him lay hands on me or her either. What do I do to put the whole situation down without a fuss. Or at least what should I do?

He sounds like a hot headed jerk of a friend who really should not even be your friend if you was smart. There a slight difference in fighting over a girl between you two, but him blaming the girl and hurting her Is a red flag in rage and hate. The girl has enough problems to deal with.

I know that, I dont consider him a friend anymore. Just don't want to fight him either. At least not with her around. He never actually laid hands on her, although he has tried and I've stopped him multiple times.
