As a woman, why would I submit to my man if I’m the one in charge and in control?

I’m the one that gets approached. I’m the one who says yes or no. I’m also the one who says yes or no to marriage. I’m the one in control of the baby’s life. So why in the world would I “submit” to my man? He’s not paying all my bills or buying everything I want. Actually, why wouldn’t I want a guy who submits to me?
