I went through the same thing and here’s what I did. First ask if somethings going on and let him know you’re there for him just in case he’s having personal issues. What I did after was I let him know that I feel like he’s confused about his feelings and maybe might mot be interested anymore. I told him that that was fine and that i would distance yourself so that he has space to figure out what he really wants. He ended up telling me that he was busy at work and just didn’t have much time for me anymore. Bet. Second, distance yourself. It’s HARD but do it. Men will chase when they miss someone or something especially if it’s a girl. Don’t initiate conversation, make plans, take this time to focus on yourself and what you want in life (besides your partner). He will come running back if he REALLY wants you and sometimes he may come back for another reason so you don’t have to take him back if you don’t want to. Remember YOU’RE the PRIZE. If it’s another girl then it’s easier to just have a conversation with her when you’re both in a good mood. Good luck!!!

That doesn't mean you are not chasing after the guy in the respect that if the guy is a bit out of your league, you will put up behavior that you would not put up with from a guy within you league.

Guys are much the same way. If they think they are doing well, the girl is precious so they will do all they can to keep her. However, if they believe they can do better, she is not precious. Therefore, they don't try because they don't much care.
