Boyfriend injured me after a fight, what to do?

So, last night we had a big fight. Without talking to me about it, he deleted all his social media, sold his phone and got some stupid light phone thing which just does texting, calls and an alarm (maybe music), and got a limited texting plan.
He knows social media is important to me as I am trying to build up my business and that's one of my avenues and I expect him to share posts of my business etc, but he has told me he's sick of social media and wants real contact.
Anyway, the fight settled and we went to bed because he seemed to have an answer for my arguments, but he went to sleep while I stayed up and it bothered me, so this morning I tried to talk to him about it again and he just said something like "ffs, why are you starting this now, we can talk about it when I get home" but I just can't wait, my anxiety was in overdrive so while he showered I grabbed his car keys and told him we are settling this now, and he got mad and kept saying "give me my keys I have to go to work" and I wouldn't, so he just grabs my wrist and forces my keys out of my hand and leaves for work, and my wrist and hand are really sore now (he works out) and I'm upset and crying all day and he's not responding to my texts or even sending an apology what do I do, maybe I Shouldn't have taken the keys but I was upset, advice please?

You're mad because you tried to keep him hostage, but he wouldn't allow it. What else was he supposed to do since you wouldn't give him his keys and let him go to work? Because your attempt at trapping him failed, you go and cry.

I don't understand what is it with some women? Why bother continuing arguing with a man that's telling you ''not now, when I get home (he has to go to work)'' but no, you have to feel the need to argue for the sake of it, take his keys and not let him leave... then cry when he has to apply a bit of force to get you to give him back the keys. All you're doing is already more stress to him.

Since you said he kept telling you to give him back the keys well that means you were warned. What if he would've gotten fired for arriving late just for staying listening to your argument?

Why confront a man at the wrong time (stressing him out even more) when you're going to end up crying and then pretend to be the victim like always? Talk about bad representation for the rest of us.

As far as your update, if he would've punched you as first resort then that would've been domestic violence. He didn't. All he did is applied minimum force needed to get you to let go of his keys so he can get to work.

When he's upset, I understand you're feelings, but think about his. He was busy, and also not willing to deal with it at that time (it was also probably best being you were both so upset). Next time, let him go. Give yourself (both of you) time to relax and cool down. When you have both calmed down, then discuss the issue. You'll have much better results then. To push the subject like you did, only makes it worse. As far as your wrist, you'll likely be fine in a day or so. Like I say, next time, avoid that situation from getting to that point.

Stealing his car keys to prevent him leaving probably constitutes false imprisonment or at least trespass of chattels, and he is probably privileged to use the minimal force necessary to recover his property. You have shown a clear disrespect for him but I don' expect an apology from you to solve your problems. This sounds like the beginning of the end for you two.

Response to update: Using force to resist you stealing his property is NOT domestic abuse. If you don't believe me, call your local prosecutor's office and ask them, but don't be surprised if they end up prosecuting you for attempted theft.

I think it’s logical to delete social media I think it’s toxic and I respect him for downgrading to a different phone so he can be away from social media. I also respect him for prioritizing his work. I understand you may be upset but you should understand he’s not trying to hurt you he’s doing things that seems logical and sensible to him. And it’s not just to him but to other people.

I don’t understand why you have anxiety over him deciding he needs space from social media. Even if it might not benefit your business it’s still not anything offensive to you personally.

I'm sick of how my gender acts sometimes. I'm tired of what I'm seeing. I've heard of even confrontational woman that gotten into the guy's face, screaming nonstoppable and when the guy wants to leave (he's clearly already upset, stressed out and even feeling intimidated too) and he ends up pushing her to get off... she cries.

As a woman you should never engage a man physically. Same goes for men, you should never engage a woman physically, but restricting someone’s right to movement is violence, he used minimum force to free himself and get to work. I don't know... it just makes me so angry. My girl slapped a joint out of my face the other day, basically slapped me in the face, hit my lip into my teeth, right infront of my friends whom id just introduced her to. I wanted my lighter and she gripped it hard as she could, I said give it back and she wouldn’t so I tried to pry her fingers apart (gently, my nails are clipped) and she digs her massive nails into my nailbed hard as she can nearly drawing blood. I just looked at her waiting for an apology for these things and she’s like “looks like it hurts” in the rudest way possible. For me, this is a big problem... she’s normally very nice and respectful but sometimes she does shit like this and it really pisses me off. I don't know... I know it won’t last forever, I wanted to at least enjoy the summer together, we had a great day up until that moment but now I’m thinking of really winding things down. My attraction to her is just gone after that
