What are you supposed to do if your boyfriend gets into a bad fight?

Let him handle it? Yell at them to stop? Call the police? Try to intervene (ouch)?

I don't like violence or fighting at all, and wouldn't be with a guy who went around starting fights, but sometimes things happen and get out of control. I was just thinking about it and how I'd react...

It will depend on the individual situation.

If he seeks out the fight, then he chose an immature path and I'd just leave them to it. It's an embarrassment for a grown men to be out looking for fights.

If someone is harassing him and he's getting ready to take action, I guess the plan would be to tell him it's not worth it and get him out of the situation and pull him away before it starts.

Overall, I don't think you should physically intervene, there are no rules in fights and if you get hurt it won't be worth it.
