She has all guy friends but mad that I spoke to another girl?

I hate the fact that my girlfriend has mostly guy friends. Especially after she admitted that these guys want her. She texts these guys on a regular. I told that it bothers me and she tells me I should trust her.

Tonight we went to one of her male friends bday parties. I started chatting with a girl named Amber at the party. My girlfriend got pissed and told me not to talk to Amber for the rest of the night. My girlfriend thinks that Amber was trying to hook up with me. I explained to my girlfriend that me and Amber were just talking about food. But she was still pissed.

I feel this is double standard. I haven’t mentioned it yet because I don’t wanna ruin the night. But I feel I should bring it up with her next time I see her.

I had the same thing with someone in college. She had at least a dozen guy friends constantly hanging around and texting her. She loved the attention and loved being able to turn them down. I was cool with it until it became apparent that among some of these "just friends" was an occasional guy she was interested in seeing. Basically painting all of these guys as nothing was her way of having a backup guy here and there.

I gave up on trying to keep a regular relationship- and just kind of shifted to asking her if she wanted kinky things instead.

You are going to encounter other girls a lot and she needs to trust you. Maybe she has trust issues because she is doing something behind your back that you would not like.

but if my so said that it made him uncomfortable i would limit how much i speak to them because it makes them uncomfortable that i'm texting other men that i know want me. you can trust her but what she is asking of you is dumb as well as hypocritical.

Obviously, she is judging your by what she is doing. That is what people do. They think other people are like them. She is fucking other guys because she is looking for an upgrade and when she is certain she will pounce. However, she doesn't want you to have any possibility of finding an upgrade and dumping her.

That usually is a she that is busy half dating or touching (or having sex with) her male buddies - so expects you are too.
Many girls are like that - giving themselves the right to have multiple relationships or line possible future boyfriends up, and getting furious at any half emotional contact a guy they are pulling by his nose has.
