Why is she mad that I like another girl?

I have a friend named Kylie. She used to date my cousin years ago, but she’s still close to our family. I recently started talking to a new girl named Anna. I mentioned to Kylie that I was interested in someone new and showed her a pic of Anna. Kylie asked if Anna is Asian. I said yes. Then she screams, “Your fucking bloodline has a fetish for Asians!”

I ask her what she means by that and she tells me how my cousin cheated on her with an Asian girl during their relationship. She said she hates Asian women because of that. For reference, Kylie is White and my family is Black. I was shocked to learn about my cousin cheating, but that doesn’t justify her anger or her comment.

What does my cousin cheating on her have anything to do with me being interested someone else? Does Kylie like me? Or is she just racist and needs help? I think she needs help either way. If she likes me, she shouldn’t be spewing racist nonsense like that.
