What is an ultimatum to you?

Usually the one giving it has reasons to, and from what I hear usually they're discussed before hand.

I realize it's been used to manipulate as well. Trying to cause someone to give into guilt and choose them. There's obvious amounts of unbalance in the 2 relationships. But the trending factor and negative look on just the phrase "Ultimatum" or "ghosting". The labels and names just trend and eventually cares about it, or wants to try to fix anything. It all loses meaning. Care and thought goes away or gets ignored and everyone just swim in their pointless ways of love. Humans get so close but too lost to give a shit about it. As long as they meant well that's all that matters.

Probably not. Basically do you think people are scared of the an ultimatum because they don't to make the decision? Ultimatums end both friendships and relationships and it's typically because of a broken trust or bond. Easy to mend but instead it becomes a screw you child's tantrum and the relationship is over when I've seen it happen. How's that for one sentence

Say you're good friends with someone, make all these plans. Then one of you find a lover and it hits off so well you move out with them ignoring your plans with your friend. So thus the friend says hey wait a minute I demand you choose either me or that significant other of yours. But if you choose that other person then I'm out for good.
