I really want to tell a close female friend i have feelings and really like her because I think she feels the same way but I'm afraid if I did and she didn't, it could ruin our friendship or make it awkward, especially since she is is quite an introverted and awkward person. So in your experience as a girl somewhat awkward or introverted how would you feel if a this happened to you or how, do ou think you'd react and feel.

In my case my guy bff is the most important person in my life and I wouldn't let anything ruin our relationship. I don't know if this is normal but I would be ok with it. we've been best friends for 3 years and I think I'm kinda developing feelings for him :D I'm a demisexual by the way. However even if I didn't have any feelings for him I would still maintain our relationship because nothing about him has ever made me uncomfortable and nothing ever will. First , you need to figure out how she feels about your relationship. Is she the type who is afraid of getting out of friend zone as she is also afraid of losing you as a friend or is she the type who is willing to move to the next step? That's really important because some girls try to not move a step ahead of being friend even tho she has strong feelings for him but she is more afraid of losing him as a friend so she choose friendship over relationship.

What made you develop feelings for her?

I guess after we stopped seeing it each other most days, we went to College together and we're classmates who became good friends but then went to separate University's, (UK by the way) she's local but I'm at the other side of the Country so we started messaging and as the year has gone on, we've messaged more and more and got closer. I've always admired her creativity but through our conversations she's revealed more and more about her life before we met, and the stuff she's overcome and I realised how strong, independent and determined she is which is amazing and super interesting, I also connect with her in that way because i've had a lot of similar experiences and I want a future with someone who's a lot alike. And she has a great sense of humour, always manages to pick me up on the roughest days.
