I'll try to sum it really quickly but I've been liking this guy for a little more than 2 months, and he knows that I like him. However, before we had met he was already in love with this other girl who has rejected him. That girl who has rejected him still apparently wants to be friends with him like normal and they still talk everyday. Though that girl likes somebody else (Not the guy I like) and I'm quite certain that the guy she likes likes her back.

Now here's the thing, me and the guy I like, we both call everyday and say I love you. He's said that he's trying to get over her, but it hurts to wait for something that I can't control. In this case I can't control his feelings for her and I can't control him to not talk to her. Because we're not dating, we're still just friends. He's actually asked me out before, but we both ultimately know it wouldn't be fair on the both of us to be in a relationship while he's still in love with her.

What I want to know if this my sign to leave him, after all it might be better for the both of us but it will hurt.
