Guy's Behavior

Is he playing me?

So me and this guy had sent back and forth flirty texts right after schools closed down. He would tell me he loves me etc and would get jealous over other guys and say I'm his. He would talk about our possible future together and me becoming his girlfriend once we both joined our schools college. Then one night, he outright asked me if I liked him and I said yes to which he said he's sorry and he doesn't like me back. So I immediately lost interest and started to get to know another guy. Then I was speaking to the guy about how i likED him and he picked up on the past tense and questioned me. Therefore, I told him that I don't like him anymore as It would be pointless to focus on someone that doesn't like me back to which he brushed off. Then he told me about 4 days later "I didn’t know you like me like that tho sims, I would've dropped the hoes" and i said but u don't even like me and he just said but but but and then we ended the conversation. He also told me that I'm as important to him as his family. And today, we were talking about guys in my life and he said "If only I was down, i just can't right now" and I askes him what he meant and he said "because we're in quarantine so even if i do there's no point, because i myself don't even understand my feelings right now" then i asked him to explain what he means and he said he doesn't want to. So i said "well u don't have to worry about my part in that anymoree its cool :)" and he asked what i meant and i said oh nothingg and he asked whats nothing and i said first tell me about ur feelings. And he said "i dont have feelings, i said this". Like what the actual hell? he acts like he's really interested and texts me every single day, like we haven't gone a day without him texting me. Is he just playing me?
