It really is up to you! Are the basketball practices that you don't enjoy worth getting through because you love the game? Or are you sure you would rather be playing volleyball year-round? Neither choice is wrong unless it makes you unhappy. I love basketball, and I put in so much work every single day because I wanted to make the varsity team and it paid off, so I truly believe if you work hard you can be an amazing volleyball player if that's what you want. Good luck in whichever sport you choose!

i asked my dad about when he wrestled in high school. he says that he also got tired of working out and practicing just like you but he still continued with it because he enjoyed the sport and still does. you should continue basketball and maybe try out for volleyball. if you don't make it, then obviously youd stick with bball. also, there's no shame in playing both at the same time, however if you plan on having a social life and good grades, it'll be tough
id say play, I really wish I was more involved with extra curricular activities in high school. I was athletic just never had the drive or want or need to play sports. wasn't very competitive. now iam completely opposite. I look back and I shouldve been playing everything. baseball, basketball, foot ball, volley ball, rugby etc. make a lot of long lasting friendships in the process, and the possibility of getting scholarships if your really good.

It's hard to be great at something you're not passionate about. However, bball *could* open doors for you. I'd suggest you give it some time, don't make decisions you didn't think through. If after awhile you still don't like the idea of playing bball, then quit. It's your life after all.
Serene Williams doesn't like playing tennis but she does cause she is good at it. If you really don't like it then don't play it.
