Why is it the most difficult thing to get to know girls?

A lot of that is cultural. Some women feel discouraged from expressing their needs and wants. Others, and this is a lot less common, but others see it as an insult or disrespectful if they even need to verbalize what they want/need. Those ladies are the divas though, and can be avoided easily enough.
