I say from my experience, my mother never liked my ex, I was an idiot, I thought it was jealous of my mother. In the end I saw that she was 100% correct

If it’s anything like when a mother indicates if a boyfriend is right for her daughter then I would say yes, she is lol. Of course I can only speak from my experience, I grew up very close with my mom so maybe that has something to do with it. But she was right about every single guy I dated, even when I didn’t want to listen and pursue something with them anyway.

From experience, my husband mom never spoke a word of me even his family because we were close like that. Every girl he brought home she pretended to like. She said they were all ghetto, fake, judgmental, filled with drama, love going to clubs and didn’t have any priorities at all. she loved the fact her son married me because I was different than what he was bringing home. Most moms always right though.
