@Unstoppable20 It is... not even kidding. At least where I live. It's very rare to find guys that like women gamers (yes, really). The last guy I liked a few years ago actually HATED that I was a gamer and thought it was a turnoff! Needless to say, said it didn't work out between us.

I should also mention I'm also into fitness. It's rare finding a geek that's into being exercise and gaming!

The few guys in my area that are geeks and gamers are already taken so... yeah, lol. I'd basically have to move if I want to find a geek I'm interested in.

@Jaximus-Lion PC gamer here! I mostly play WoW at the moment, but I have a ton of Steam games collecting dust (I swear I'm going to play them again one of these days, haha). I used to be a PS girl as well, but I got so sick of them seeming to change the consoles every other year, I'm not paying 4-500 dollars for a console when I can just build myself a good gaming rig that last 5+ years instead

@Silver158 I play and raid with a lot of guys and other women- that's never been an issue for me. Guys don't act weird, talk to us differently, or any of those cliche "gamer girl" stereotypes I always hear about! Heck, I'm usually top dps with most of the guys on my team! LOL

However, most of the guys I play with are always married or taken in real life, so that could also be a factor.

@Jaximus-Lion Bahaha! Us WoW players are a dying breed; I know. I barely play it outside of raiding and doing mythic dungeons with friends to be honest. Without friends, it's definitely boring.
Outside of WoW, I'm mostly a rpg, fantasy, hack and slash genre gamer (though if it interests me, I'll at least consider it).

Never been a huge fan of fps outside of the Borderlands series; love that game!

My two main ways I spent my time used to be Witcher 3 and working out. I love video games, but I stopped playing because I feel like they are too much a waste of time, even though they are fun. Yeah, it's hard finding a balance of being fit and gaming. For me at least, I exercise 5-6 days a week, 30-60 minutes a day (I'm actually on my way to the gym now after I finish replying to this thread). I exercise in the mornings before work, work, then after work is when I primarily game or relax. I basically treat gaming as a "reward" for my work throughout the day. Of course on the weekends, it's easy to just veg out and game all day, but I still manage to exercise on the weekends as well depending on my mood.

It's just awesome to know there are fit gamers out there! We seem to be a rare breed indeed.

THIS! I don't think people understand that more than anything. He doesn't even have to play the same games as I do. He just needs to understand that I DO play games and it's a part of my life. I refuse to date a non-gamer; it just won't work.

Honestly due to lack of time, that is the only game I'm playing right now, though I have several friends trying to drag me into FF14- which yes, I plan on going back to if I ever get some spare time; I haven't touched it since it first came out. I just couldn't do two sub based games at once.

I think that a woman that plays Magic: The Gathering is really sexy. Magic is a very mentally stimulating game because there are so many rules involved and literally every time a card is played the rules change. If a woman is accomplished at this game, it says a lot about her. It says a lot about anyone.
