My girlfriend mad over a promise ring…?

My girlfriend is mad at me because I lost the promise ring she gave me. This is the second time I lost it. We was arguing a few days ago and I took it off and now I can’t even find it. The ring was $80.00 and I told her maybe she shouldn’t buy me no more rings and then she got even madder. I can’t see why she was mad, I told her rings are maybe not just for me.

Even if rings aren't for you, she got it for you to show you how special you are to her.

If my girlfriend got me a promise ring, or any gift for that matter, and I lost it (multiple times), I would feel terrible! I love my girlfriend and whatever she may get me as a gift. That's the way it goes, even if the gift isn't "my thing."

You losing her special gift to you, twice, shows her that you may not care enough about her to keep her gifts safe. She has every right to be mad at you. I think you need to apologize to her and try to be more conscious of her feelings in the future.
