Nah I use it for humor or a term of endearment. And between you and me, I like being called that during sexy time too.
I'm autistic, and even a word like retard or stupid depends on the context for me. If someone questions my intelligence because sometimes I say stuff thats different, it hurts. But if I'm laughing with friends and they call me a retard, it doesn't even phase me. Because sometimes I am silly, even though I'm above average in intelligence.
As someone who is bad at reading the room or being socially acceptable, I really rely on people knowing the intent behind what I'm saying rather than what somebody whose not even involved might think I meant.

Context should matter, because what if the behavior is worse than the word, more disrespectful, more childish, and more insulting? It is a word that has a definition and a place and time to use it, unlike, say the N word, which has no proper definition and no appropriate way to use it.
I think the problem with swear words is that as soon as someone uses one, the other person latches onto that and everything else you said just loses any validity. It's an easy way to turn the tables on someone you are arguing with, they call you a name and you get outraged and everything else is lost. Which sucks, because there could be a very good reason for calling someone a bitch. You don't like it? Even better. Maybe you could take a step back and look at yourself and think why someone would call you that, something you hate so much. But people don't, they just see red and flip off the rails. Of course there are a lot of people who just say it because they have nothing else to say though, and in those cases they are just stupid.
But if I call you a bitch, its because you are being a bitch. I could call you rude, disrespectful, loud, obnoxious, ignorant or whatever else, but I think bitch sums it up quite nicely...
