Is it a good idea to live with your fiancé?

For example, if the wedding was to strictly take place in a year, and ya’ll decided to move out of your parent’s house and live together to enjoy more time together and save more money together when it comes to rent, is it a good idea? Or should one strictly wait to live together before they are officially husband and wife?

Personally I think it’s a must.

you only really learn the real person when you live with them, manage budgets, manage menus, domestic chores etc.

Imagine waiting until you are married that the other person does not tidy up after themselves.

i could never not live with someone first, admittedly the getting married but is also a bit pointless as it’s a bit of paper from registry office.

Living together before marriage is a good idea. It gives both the guy and the girl time to see what living together is like, and to work through any difficulties that will arise.

I've seen couples get married and then live together, and then realize that they are totally incompatible. Example: he's a slob and she's OCD.

Living together with your fiance is good. You get to learn about each other, your vibes during times of stress not just when you guys are free to hang out. I believe in no sex before marriage but seeing if you are compatible and openly sharing about what habits need fixing is important when making that big leap. And the bonus is saving money etc.

Depends where you're at in life. If you're like 18 or 19, i think it's a bit early to consider marriage. If you're over 20, you're a year out from getting married, I'd say move in. You need to experience life together at least a bit before you're expected to spend your whole lives together.

For a woman who is a virgin, she should not live with him. The marriage day is a piece of living proof that he loves her and will remain loyal. If he just proposes to get sex then that ruins what you wanted all alone.

Yes absolutely. I never understood how people won’t live together or sleep together before marriage. What if you get married and you hate everything about living with this person or the sexual chemistry is terrible.

I loved living with my fiance when we were engaged. However, we were also a fair bit older than what it seems you and your fiance are. That might make a difference

I think it is stupid to not live with your fiancé before getting married this way you get an understanding of how well you cope together under one roof

look at Jessica Simpson she and Nick waited until they were married to live together but Nick had no idea Jess was messy and threw her clothes everywhere and you could see he would get frustrated at her for it Than she went and asked him that dumb question if Tuna was fish or chicken

It's a good way to find out if you are truly compatible. It's best to find that out before you're married. You never really know someone until you live with them.
