I liked the suggestions to either brand their forehead with a C or the one that suggested have them in a list, like sexual offenders who have to register on a list, so would cheaters, then you could look and See if that persons on the list
They all sound psychotic and sadistic to me, I can't get on board with any of them.
How would putting a cheaters name on a list be sadistic?
I don't see it as a criminal offense. It's a moral and ethical offense, but not one I would encourage punishing legally. There's a line there that I wouldn't want crossed into the legal system. I can't exactly tell you what it is, but my gut says "bad idea, that's something that would bite others in the ass later on".There's a hint Draconian measures in there. What happens if the list doesn't work? What's its purpose actually? To shame or prevent? Does it go on some kind of record? It would have to if it were enforced by the law.But let's say it does none of that and the cheater continues to find willing and unwitting victims if you want. What then? A list turns to what? A fine? Then maybe some jail time? Then maybe inability to work? Stoning for women who cheat like they do in some countries?That would go in someone's record. It's not on the same level as going to jail over a joke although many are being jailed for that... but it's close, in my opinion.Maybe I'm paranoid but I see it as one of those teeny tiny steps to authoritarianism (when you want to involve the law) and a bit telling of a culture that revolves too much on retribution/vengefulness disguised as justice (When you think of it ethically). To me it appeals to people's sadism, machiavellianism... their dark side essentially. I see that many would be happy to go along with ideas like that, as the green light they're waiting for to act on that dark side with the stamp of righteousness on it.And maybe I'm crazy but even if I were cheated on, I'm not gonna have someone legally punished for having essentially hurt my pride and feelings.
Why shouldn't cheaters pay for the pain and suffering they cause others?
Well any system that punished them would be pretty weird in my opinion. If you think about the actual implementation. And I kinda just believe in Karma that people who do stuff like that get what they deserve usually. Also like I said I feel like it's part of life to deal with bad things and bad people.
That would be good idea
Incarceration with zero conjugal visits should do the trick.
@Jamie05rhs As long as they don't "drop the soap" or they may get unwarned "visiters" 🤣
@Brainsbeforebeauty That would be icing on the cake!
@Jamie05rhs If you into dudes
@Brainsbeforebeauty 😂. No; I meant for us! The people punishing him!
@Jamie05rhs Ooohhh okay lololol
For women 6 months is a long time but for guys thats not really that long. Some guys go five years without. Men dont crave attention the same way women do

That's damn gold
I've always said they should castrate rapists and child molesters
Oh. I agree too
@Brainsbeforebeauty Oh, you know that guy using the fake account was a cheater too.
So very true
Well, one thing I might subscribe to is if there is a sort of counseling or education program that shows high success rates in rehabilitating cheaters into faithful and honest types. Then I might think that's a good idea for a cheater to rehabilitate them.
To be clear I do not approve of cheaters whatsoever. Their morals or struggles to stick to them (I have my own struggles, but it's not with fidelity) are so different from mine. But I also don't understand them so well and their motivations for cheating as a result. So I cannot assume the role of a god and cast such confident judgment that I would inflict harm on them unless I can almost guarantee that it will have positive effects on society. Cheating is disgusting to me but so is a used car salesman peddling junk and making it sound reliable only to break down soon after purchase. Laws often have some perverse side effects. The more practical solution I see which doesn't involve any violence is emphasizing a greater need to raise consumer awareness. Shop smart.
I thought milk was good for bones, guess that doesn't apply to boners🤣🤣
Milk has calcium so helps bones but alcohol is a depressant so on one hand it gives and on the other hand it takes! lol
There user who said they should be put on as list, that's a great idea.. Might not stop people from cheating, but it would stop them from being able to lie to, hurt the next person they try to get with
Yea changing your name or simply making a fake profile could change that. As long as you don't say your real name your good. Unless you put a picture of him/her but even than theirs always people who aren't capable of using technology to the fullest. Some people don't know how to.
Well you could put a brand on their forehead 😜 😂
@t-8900 yea try doing that and see how it gets ya
What do you mean?
@t-8900 freedom for americans anyway is something that they take very seriously. Not sure of any other country but i highly doubt anyone would want that, plus what if that person change. Everyone knows he/she is a cheater so we can't know for sure
Well you know the saying "can't do the time, don't do the crime". Plus Americans are letting. ore freedom slip through their grasp with each passing day. I'd wager most would give up their freedom for materials and safety at this point
@t-8900 to each their own
There you go!!👍👍
I'm glad you agree!!! You break trust. It's a wrap. I can't handle it.
Damn that's cold🤣
Honestly, a little too soon, though.
@Jamie05rhs you're right to be fair. I was just in a stupid mood
@Mortdikeuu You're fine; don't worry. :)
Sounds good👍👍 they could call it Cheatersville🤣
Not a bad idea👍 cuz most cheaters won't tell the new person in their life they cheated on the last one... This way they couldn't lie about it
Vicious. I like that one.
I didn't want it to be too extreme, because at the end of day i do think a cheater can grow and learn why that was wrong and not make the same error by admitting they made that mistake. Which a lot won't, and this would make them have to hopefully make them change for the better. And if not well it lows the chance of them getting away with cheating since everyone would know and then cheaters could also just get together really and sort something out that way. If it was prison or mutilation well i don't think it would help those learn. And not to downplay cheating cause of course it's really bad, But it's not on the level of rape and other things that i would deem unforgiveable and would for deserve these such things and not given a chance.
I've always said rapists and child molesters should be castrated.. I like the user's answer who said brand a C on their forehead... Or the user who said put them on a list.. They'd have to register as a cheater kinda like a sex offender does.. That way people could look them up and see they're a cheater before getting involved with them.. Most cheaters don't admit that's what they are, they just keep lying to more and more people...
Branding is good. Scarlet letter their asses. Cheaters seldom ever take responsibility. They just the people they cheat on and make it seen like it's their fault. Cowards.
Right!! Never their fault, always someone else's fault🙄🤦
