How to break up with a psycho girlfriend?

So me and my girlfriend been together for 6yrs now. I've tried to be very patient but her controlling possessive and tends to act like my mother behavior is too much. I've never cheated not one time.. 2 or 3yrs ago while she was locked up I almost broke up with her and started dating a mutual friend but didn't bc she said she would change it and she still hasn't. I use to be the same way but after evaluating myself I made a big effort to change and have. What should I do?

You give back all her shit, change your locks, get a new phone number, block her on all your media, and tell her " I'm done. I've changed, you haven't. I don't love who you are and I don't want you in my life. Respect that and find someone who does. Don't contact me anymore".

That's how you do it.

Plan everything out to leave but also look at her face to face (somewhere in public) and STILL tell her you want to break up. Psycho people can get even more psycho when they get ghosted.

I went through something like a few years ago. Wasn’t fun.

Be direct and be firm. Stand your ground and be ready to feel a little remorse at first, but push through it. I've been there, and I wish I had taken that advice right away, but hopefully my experience can help you avoid that mistake.
