What's the point of ''I love you forever'' if you can end up blocking them later on?

All this ''my love of my life'', ''I love you forever and ever'', ''you're my family now'', and ''I love you unconditionally'' love bombings seems over the top.

They can still cheat or do you wrong and then you end up blocking them on all your pages. Then where's that so called proclamation of love? I've noticed that the more people love bomb one another, the likely the relationship will end in the future.
