Do girls ever want to be just friends?

Quite often girls will start talking to me and being so lovely and chatty, but not long after finding out i have a partner they will ghost me, the only real reason i can think of is many want more than a friendship... or i am just totally boring, i mean its probably the boring thing but i needed a question today! so... shoot!

Maybe depends how close of friends. I think that you can have a friendship between a girl and guy but after a certain level of friendship usually someone starts catching feelings or one of them leaves. I think that it would be very hard to be best friends with a boy/girl without one of them liking the other

Its an odd one for me, Most my female friends are relatives (cousins etc) or lesbians! i get on really well with lesbians, i think its because of all this... or old women, they love me... :D
