Never assume you'll just grow together or he'll change for you. It's very hard to measure progress if you have no idea where you are going.

A big challenge for girls is their tendency to start preparing for their wedding when they're still in kindergarten. The more specific the details of the plan, the greater the disappointment, as all you'll notice are what doesn't measure up. It's hard to see opportunities when all we focus on is what should or shouldn't be. There’s no “right answer” to this question. Everyone is different and has their own ideas of what a dealbreaker is. You have to look within yourself as an individual and ask yourself the important questions, like what exactly is happening to make you even question breaking up? How does the issue in question impact me? One thing I will say is that there are no perfect relationships (not saying that is what you’re looking for). There will always be a thing/things that bother you, or you don’t like about your partner. So with that knowledge, you just want the pros to outweigh the cons. It needs to be worth it, otherwise the relationship is pointless.
