Do I have trust issues or should I actually be concerned?

My partner has a friend of the opposite gender and I feel they break quite a few boundaries that I don't consider within what I see as just friendship. She was there in his life few months before I met him and he has quite a few gifts from her that he has at his place, she used to help him stock up with food as he lives away from home, they used to go exploring new food joints together alone. She also takes the liberty to facetime him whenever she wants to and she took a vacation to his hometown alone (although he lives with his family there, I kinda found this weird).
Recently she left the city and the last time they hung out, he took her on a bike ride through his neighborhood and even woke up early to go see her off at the airport.

Now these are a lot of things I would never see myself doing with a friend of the opposite gender as every time I try to allow someone into one of these limits, they always try to make it into something romantic or they think I'm leading them onto something. I'm extremely uncomfortable to address this or just to even try to understand how this works. I can't exactly point out what makes me feel this way although I love him so much and don't want to hurt him
