What is the difference between roles in a relationship between a boyfriend & girlfriend vs Husband & Wife?

I run into a woman who said "I won't do wifely duties as a girlfriend.".

A wife submits or at least should submit to her husband leadership.

A wife looks over the house and bears the responsibility with the family unit.

A girlfriend is like a female buddy. She doesn't actually have no role.

Marriage is a major commitment. And that's what makes it special, held in a higher regard above other relationship statuses.
It is also hopeful. It needs to be. It's a promise to ride through the hard times, even when you don't like each other temporarily. You must put those feelings aside and honour the commitment and decision you made to one another. If things deteriorate over time, getting worse and worse, then a serious look and inventory can be taken, to see if both parties want to continue or not. But marriage removes fickleness.
I act pretty much the same, whether wife or girlfriend. But there is less independence, more accommodating, more communication, more joint decisions, and maybe overall a bit more care for the other person. I'd still help my partner, cook for them, offer the same level of support... if they are equally committed and kind to me. I don't consider anything really 'wifely duties' or 'husbandry duties.'
But in both situations there should be communication, kindness, respect, etc.
