My ex cheated. Pretty sure she did because she had major baby fever and sex just wasn’t going to happen with me. At least she got what she wanted. She now has 1 kid that I know of but she isn’t with the kid’s father. She’s non-legally “married” to some other dude. I couldn’t give a shit what she does with her life though. It’s been almost 6 years and only took about 3 to get over her fully. She’s one of the many reasons why I hate relationships

She received an amazing job offer, once in a life time thing.

it was in Australia, we lived in the UK.

i had the choice between daughter or girlfriend, I chose daughter.

this was Autumn 2019, then Covid hit in early 2020…

This sort of removed any thought of moving out etc.

Looking back, I think I didn’t know how to communicate. I’d not reply for hours, never show too much affection for fear of driving him away. I played it TOO cool that he didn’t want anything to do with me. He was also manipulative and really not over his ex. He’d neg me a lot too. We were both just really not ready LOL

I think sometimes people grow apart. When your young especially and things are changing so much in your twenties. You start to see life differently and have different goals. For me the person was way to controlling and I changed into a different person for him. I lost total touch of who I was.

She liked me but not enough to have sex with me so it wasn't meant to be. I certainly didn't rush things either we we classed as boyfriend and girlfriend for about 6 months.

I've been in my current relationship for 4 years now and things are looking much better! :)

I know why, I ended it because I knew it wouldn't last long term. We just wanted different things from the relationship. Things were going well, but I knew ultimately she wouldn't be happy with me and have what she really wanted.

She was a recovering alcoholic and fresh out of a pretty bad 5 year relationship. Her life had kinda fallen apart and she was just too scared to let someone get close again
