My housemates boyfriend has covid, I feel like crying help?

So my housemate text me yesterday while I was at work to say her boyfriend (doesn’t live with us) has tested positive on an antigen test. He has currently been staying overnight with us because they had a few drinks the previous night so now they are both isolating in our apartment. He has his own place.

Which is tiny. They are still using the kitchen and bathroom so its basically me isolating in my room trying to not catch covid off them. They are currently gone out for a walk while I’m stuck in my tiny room. My housemate insists I can still see my own boyfriend, she clearly has no clue about the rules.

I’m super depressed I can’t see my own boyfriend, I can’t see anyone. At least they have each other. It’s only the first day and I already feel like crying. Anyone in the same situation?

I’ve never had roommates so I’m not positive but something seems very wrong with this arrangement - his roommates don’t want him at his place yet they’ll gladly accept his share of the rent. If he stays at your place then he needs to pitch in for the rent this month.
