Yes, income is a big factor as well. I knew when I chose to take a less stressful but lower paid job I'd be pretty much ending my dating life. Not that I'm poor , I own several properties, but I don't wear a $2000 suit to work anymore and I drive a regular car not an exotic sportscar or some rediculus overpriced truck that will never haul anything but a bedliner.

For women it's age, men who want families aren't looking at 35 year olds obviously, and many will keep trying to find a fit young women till they find one or give up trying. Some men just decide by then to give up trying so that leaves a lot more single women as you approach 35.

Well, the older we get, the better we know what we want so we are more specific about what we're looking for. When I was in my 20s, she just had to be fun to be around (meaning shared interests), now there are other criteria as well.

I am more tolerant of a younger woman being overweight than one close to my age or older.
