What exactly does wanting space entail? Because she can’t have it both ways, and not want to talk unless she’s reaching out. It’s unfair to you and just ridiculous in general. I’d ask her to be very clear, and if she doesn’t know what she wants when I’d tell her to let me know when she does, but until then we aren’t talking. Clarity is super important with these situations.
