So I told my boyfriend I won’t be in the mood to talk to him for a few days because of my dad is sick. I’m really hurt about what’s happening to my dad. He said okay. Around late afternoon he calls me still.

Well if your with someone you really care about when they are suffering through a hard time then you want to be there for them to offer emotionally support. Now if you are telling this guy you do not want that from him then yeah, he should take the hint and move on. I would not want to date someone that cut me off or shut me out like that.
