Which one is better, being in a relationship or being alone?

Anyone that says "alone" has issues. Humans crave connections. Being in a HEALTHY relationship is better. However, in order to get to that place, you need to make sure you are not fucking up on your end, so you have to work on yourself. Not only do you have to be fit and on your grind, you should also make sure you are not bringing through an baggage from past trauma in relationships, and that you're not being the toxic one. This takes time, and you have to be single while you work on yourself, so you need to be comfortable being single, but after it's all said and done you are not going to stay single just because you want to stay single. As far as other people are concerned, there isn't really much you can do about that. You have to make sure you pick the right person, not someone who is toxic that is gonna send you right back onto the path of recovery with even more baggage. Humans are single by default, and a healthy relationship ADDS to your life, so it's net positive. A toxic relationship TAKES from your life, so it's net negative.

For me, I've come to the realization recently that it's better to be alone than in bad company. But being single does suck, I miss the feelings of closeness. People talk about having more freedom to do what you want and stuff. But for me, im not a fan.

If you didn't have enough people around when you were young, you can get by alone.

But you had people around you for majority of your life, you will prepare relationship.


I personally prefer relationships cause emotional support is something you don't know you needed until you get a proper one.
