Why do feminist consider it offensive for a woman to make a man a plate?

My ex and I were at a family gathering and I asked her to make me a plate and she said no so I asked my little sister and she asked me what I wanted and brought me a plate my ex got mad at my sister for bringing me food “That’s sexist and demeaning” like I demanded that she do it she was happy to oblige I don’t see anything wrong with it but if you’re a woman and you find that sexist please explain to me how?

They find it offensive if a woman is *expected* to.

The fact that you only asked two females to do this leads me to suspect you expect women to do it. If my suspensions are correct, that is offensive.

Why didn't you ask any males to do it?

I'd say it has to do with gender bias or something of the like, if I'm not mistaken.
I don't mind if my wife cooks for me, but since I am the best cook, I prefer to cook myself when I can - I don't believe cooking is something you can learn, but rather an innate quality.
I have that talent and she doesn't, simple as that, although I don't tell her because she'd get upset - so I do my best to swallow whatever concoction she decides to try out, lol.

It would be sexist to say women should never make a man a plate because she is a woman as well as it would be sexist to say a woman has to always make a man his plate because she is a woman. Couples should just do for each other what they can do for each other and not over think something being offensive because it’s a gender role.

Today a lot of women, and especially feminists, believe doing anything kind for a man or showing him any respect is a bad thing. It's part of what has made modern women so unappealing. Most don't cook for the same reason, which is another way modern women have devalued themselves.

Yes I would ask a man I’ve had my big brother make me a plate before I asked my teammates to make me one while taping my kleets ofc they would pull a dick move like biting my sandwich and putting back on the plate but they still made it😂
