Why is this guy and his friends only mean to me?

There is this guy who knows I like him. He glares at me. He tries to make me jealous. He makes fun of me behind my back. He tries to appear in front of my eyes but ignores me. He gives me one word replies when I text him. His friends ignore me too. His friends talk to my friends and follow my friends on social media but never me. I feel like whenever I put quotes about love or sadness on instagram this crush of mine sends it to their friends. Because there is a huge gap of timing of him watching my stories. Now I hate him a lot. But what is the reason guys behave like this with girls. If he doesn't like me back why can't he just ignore me. Why does he glare. Why does he do all this.

Yeah, people change. I had friends in my neighborhood, we used to hang out every day when we were kids. In high school, one by one they started hanging out with other friends and concentrated about getting stoned or being with the new friends. They became too cool to hang out with me. I moved away after highschool and no one even bothered to say goodbye. It was cold.
