It wouldn’t be an issue for me at all. If they were smiling, I think it would make me so much happier and more comfortable. My boyfriend and I used to video call all the time, our cheeks would hurt from smiling so much.

I just read it.

I think telling her that she looks nice was a good starter, but I'm not so sure about deeper talk. Maybe try and tell her that you really liked talking to her/that she seems an interesting person to have a conversation with and that you would like to meet up with her sometime if she wants.
