My best friend gets jealous when her boyfriend talks to me?

I have known my best friend since kindergarten. She started dating a guy last year. I’m very happy for her. However, if I’m out and about with them usually I’ll join in the conversation… be social that kind of thing. But I have noticed, she goes extremely quiet Non-Sociable and sulk. She made no effort to converse So I was chatting away with him, I did ask her what was the matter her response… Nothing! She said she wasn’t Feeling very well. I would believe her, but this has happened on numerous occasions now. and I have realised she gets jealous every time her boyfriend talks to ANY WOMAN. She can be quite manipulative makes up a story just to justify her behaviour and usually the story is full of lies. I’ve had enough! I don’t really want to see her again.
I can’t stand the lies she tells just to justify her awful Behaviour. And it’s an insult to me as if I’m interested in her boyfriend… He’s not my type. I Don’t fancy him at all I view him as a brother.
Four weeks ago she invited us out to dinner,
I took my five-year-old daughter along with me I was chatting away with her boyfriend because my friend was quiet. The following day she made up a story how her man was flirting with all the waitresses, no he wasn’t… not at all. What she was trying to say was he was flirting with me, and he wasn’t he was just being polite and friendly. It’s upset me because she doesn’t think much of me. Probably thinks I’m after her man… So embarrassing. I’m going to cut texting her and try and distance myself away from her. I honestly Feel her jealousy has killed my friendship with her. Oh and the lies. What would you do in my situation?
