My boyfriend's best girl friend jealous of me, is this normal?

my boyfriend has a friend but in the past they were acting lovers so that nobody could text to them but when we started dating they argued about this issue. i said lets introduce me to her and we are gonna meet soon. i dont have any possitive thoughts about her since she is jealous of me which is awkard to me. i am his best friends girl friend why she is acting this way. is she okay? do you think she has feelings for him or its just a normal thing?

Well, they have a history of being romantically involved and who knows how long she had his attention before you came along. Having seen that dynamic many times in the past, my guess is that she played games with him knowing how he felt about her, and probably thought he’d always chase her. So knowing that he could really be gone this time, I’m sure that is part of her jealousy towards you. With that sort of relationship between them, I’d suggest you try encouraging him to distance himself from her a little, since they’re not exactly platonic friends, I’m sure there’s a bit of something there at least on her end.
