How do I deal with being the ONLY one of my friends to NEVER been married?

I am 27 years old, turning 28 this year, and I watching all my former friends get married. I am the last one I know of that is not married.

Meanwhile, not only am I the last one not married, I NEVER EVEN HAD A GIRLFRIEND BEFORE. What the actual FUCK!!!

Do you have any ideas why this might be? Are you actively trying to get into a relationship? Are you signaling you don’t want one, intentionally or unintentionally? Are you, as it goes, looking for love in all the wrong places? Is there a chance you might be putting women on a pedestal and be afraid of approaching any of them? They’re just people trying to make it in this crazy world too, and if you’re a decent person you should be able to find someone willing to give you a chance. There must be at least one reason things have gotten to this point. Isolating what that reason is will give you a jumping off point for further research into fixing the problem. You already have an advantage over lots of other 20-so etchings that you can see a problem and are willing to ask for help.

High standards is a fairly big terminology umbrella. Do you mean not settling for crap or high enough that an impartial observer might find cause to think you are being unreasonable? I’ve seen high standards used in both ways.

Well, do you want to be? I've been in that position before; being a third wheel isn't much fine. Fifth is worse. Seventh is usually okay, but when everyone else is in "couple mode", then DAMN, does that get lonely. Ninth and up I've never seen that happen in.

Seems to me that if you want a woman, you should go out and find one. If it's just general FOMO, well, it may suck not having a valentine on Valentine's day, but have you ever had a shark during shark week? You've gotten through that okay, no?

I am 57 and never been married. I have had relationships but it just never happened. I use to stress about it but not anymore my nieces and nephews are getting married before me. I want the right person not just someone to marry try not to stress about it so much good luck
