What do my future prospects look like with love?

I am 27, almost 28, and I have never had a real girlfriend. Of all the people I have known throughout my life, I don't know anyone that shares that circumstance. In fact, I am the only one out of my former friends to not be married and/or have children. I am finding it incredibly difficult to relate and for others to have empathy for my situation, because everyone I know hasn't lived it.

I am ultimately wanted me and a woman to be each other's first loves and first real relationship. I don't know if this will ever happen. It is a deal breaker for me.

I do seek a particular type of woman, but I won't know until I talk to her. The problem is, working from home and no longer being in school has made meeting women incredibly difficult. I am not a pick up artist, and finding a commonplace to really get to know people is difficult where I live (Knoxville) unless you are in school. Otherwise, most suggest bars, and I have been scammed by women at bars around here.

It means I wasn't close to any females from school, whether it be from college or earlier.

Note they are all former friends. I haven't spoken to most of them in years. I asked one to help me out and find a girl, but we have also grown apart over the years. They are also all married and have kids now.

Tried online dating for years. No good results came from it. In fact, I had some really bad experiences. I have been on various platforms, some free and some expensive. They all are terrible. Keep in mind on dating apps/sites, men far outnumber women, so women can be more choosy. An average guy (at best) like me doesn't compete.

There are various reasons. For one, first loves are special. I don't want a woman to be my first girlfriend if I am not her first boyfriend. A big reason would be that me and a woman can no longer say we knew each other when we were both young. We can no longer share that sentiment.

Try arranged marriage route. Ask your parents to set up a date for you. Learn to be embarrassed now than being forever alone.

You can try online dating too but statistically it won't work for most guys.

Unless you want to change some of your approach or criteria than what you had till now, then I don't see why it should change in your future.
